  Thanks resident Shannon C. for recommending this place for Thai food in Woodland, another downtown Main Street spot.
  
  Whenever I try a new place, I typically go for their pad thai, thai iced tea, and green curry as sort of benchmarks. Once the first benchmarks pass, then I get into other dishes like pineapple or crab fried rice, or chef specials such as duck.
  
  Looking at their lunch special menu, the pad se ew caught my eye -- some places use Chinese broccoli (gailan), and some use regular broccoli, so I was curious which I would get in this case. Turns out, the dish actually had both regular and Chinese broccoli in it, to my surprise! I chose pork as the protein. The noodles were just right, although the carrots or some element was a little too heavy on the black pepper after getting through most of the plate. The appetizer of the day was a fried potsticker, and I didn't care for the salad that much though. The soup was a gingery cabbage soup, rather than a sour tom yum. The pad thai with tofu that my coworker ordered looked good.
  
  Next time I'll give the curry or stirfry lunch specials a try. The thai iced tea was on point, although they only have one dessert option, the sticky rice and mango.

  No. No. And no.
  
  It's like all they did was throw frozen veggies, onion, peppers and chicken together...slapped some oil and five spice on it...and over cooked them, then threw them on top of extremely soggy, to the point of not even able to pick them up with a fork or chopsticks, drunken noodles.  Did I mention the "sauce" is very unevenly distributed.  One bite is bland, then next is overwhelming with random spices.  So bizarre.
  
  The only thing I'm ok with are the zucchini slices in this dish. Absolutely not worth the price.
  
  I'll stick with Thai Pepper moving forward.

  One of the few favorite places to go for lunch or dinner. Ever time we go there everything we order has been fresh, and so delicious. This is the kind of place you look forward to eating out everytime you want the best when you eat out. Their prices are reasonable for the quality and freshness of the food you get. We just love it!

  First thing you'll notice on their menu front page is that if the food is not prepared as they see fit to be "correct", you have no recourse to send it back...bringing your legal mind to a dining experience doesn't create hospitality or trust.
  
  We asked if a dish was slow cooked and was told yes, so we ordered it very mild.  The curry arrived soupy and spicy.  The waitress got very angry and blamed my dining companion (who had ordered a mild dish) for informing me (not that it was his job) that mild meant watery because of excess coconut milk needed to cut their excessively spicy curry base.
  The waitress didn't feel ethically responsible to take ownership....rather, she shifted blame to my dining partner.  She then got angry and walked away.  When we tried to work it out, she yelled at us and told us to get out after she threatened to call the police and that "we have cameras and are going to call the cops on you if you walk out".
  
  I don't have time for bad food, let alone crazy people.
  
  So we left.   Please don't make the mistake of passively continuing to support these angry and aggressive people.

  I'm in love with the red curry soup! Wen to Bangkok on a cold/windy day and the soup hit the spot. It had a nice heat to it and the vegetables melted in my mouth. I ordered the soup to go and it came with a side of rice and one egg roll. I ordered pork, and the pieces were huge. It did take up a lot of space in the container. To the point that the pork took up more than half of the container. Only thing that I would do differently is maybe order it 30 minutes before I pick it up, to give it time to cool down. Also, ask them to cut the meat into smaller pieces or get a veggie version with extra veggies.
  
  On another visit I got the drunken noodles. I got them spicy and it is a true spicy that will have you sweating bullets. I got the noodles with extra vegetables with an order of egg rolls. The egg rolls and the sauce were ok. They kind of remind me of the ones you get from the frozen food section.
  
  So far I have ordered my food in the restaurant and over the phone. Both times service has been quick I don't think that I have even waited ten minutes for my food. The restaurant does hold heat and it can feel like you're walking into a sauna, but they have a huge fan that is aimed and the customers who are seated.
